On 31 August 2019, the instructor of a two-seater Cessna 152 aircraft (registration VH-TFR) lost consciousness whilst on a flying lesson from Jandakot Airport, Perth, Western Australia. The 29 year-old student, Max Sylvester, on his first flying lesson, landed the aircraft undamaged following practice approaches, assisted by ATC and an instructor via radio.

8/31/2019 · 7NEWS is reporting an instructor had a medical emergency during a lesson.. and a student has had to be coached down by air traffic control. A short time ago the student managed to land the plane safely. The instructor is now being treated by paramedics. Sources said the plane was a Cessna 152 and the instructor was believed to have had a seizure.
